R.I.P. MTV 'Music Television'

After 29 years, MTV has redesigned its logo and finally dropped "Music Television." Basically it looks just like the old logo, only with some cropping.

Having "Music Television" on there was just a constant reminder that MTV was branding itself one way, programming itself another.

Here's the new logo...
