Last night at the Kids' Inaugural Ball, the Jonas Brothers launched a new texting program to inspire kids to make a difference by signing up to volunteer in their own neighborhoods. The program is a joint effort between the Jonas Brothers' Change for the Children Foundation and Do Something.org.
How does the program work? Simply text "Jonas" to 30644 and put in your zip to receive a volunteer opportunity in your area (standard messaging rates apply and kids under age 13 must have parent's permission).
In addition, Nick, Kevin, and Joe encouraged kids and families to participate in community service and to share goodwill with their fellow citizens by preparing service care packages with tips and guidelines from the non-profit USA Service.
The Jonas Brothers are no strangers to giving back to the community. They have been actively involved in promoting awareness of poverty issues affecting kids, homeless teens and Diabetes awareness.
