Step It Up: Mentoring At-Risk Teens

Crystal Light, part of the Kraft Foods family of products, announced two new educational initiatives for at-risk teen girls "designed to promote self-esteem, well-being and confidence." Kraft has teamed up with the Step Up Women's Network to provide at-risk teens in New York City with an unique opportunity to get a peek into the world of fashion.

The NYC students were teamed up with Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) college students and together they worked on a design concept for Crystal Light. You can learn more about the NYC project in the video.

Students in Los Angeles went on a statewide tour of colleges and universities. The Crystal Light College Tour was designed to provide students a taste of higher education and encourage them to stay in school, keep up their grades and pursue advanced degrees.
